About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Community and Heritage, the Community Relations Advisor plays a key role in building trusted relationships with Indigenous stakeholders and supporting employment, training, and community initiatives.

Based across our Murchison Operations on an 8:6 roster, you will act as a liaison between Westgold and local communities, helping to create opportunities, deliver programs, and foster long-term partnerships that support both community and business outcomes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison between Westgold and local communities
  • Identify and support employment and training opportunities
  • Coordinate cultural awareness and community programs
  • Provide mentoring and support to Indigenous employees and candidates
  • Assist with implementing community engagement initiatives



About You

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities or stakeholders
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience delivering or supporting training programs
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to engage across teams
  • Genuine commitment to inclusion and community engagement



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant experience in community relations or similar role
  • Exposure to mining or remote site environments (preferred)
  • Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Clearance
